WILD Passport Practitioner Forest School Leader joint certification - Wakefield

For the first time ever, qualify as a Forest School Leader and a WILD Passport Practitioner in the same course.

Covering the pedagogy of both approaches, including Learning and Development Theories, Play theory, woodland management, practical skills, risk assessment and so many ideas (so many!) for ways to make your sessions interesting and engaging for learners, this is the ideal opportunity for potential outdoor educators to enter the sector on the front foot, with access to not just one, but two approaches to outdoor learning to help them meet the needs of their learners and their setting!

  • Tuition (two in person, practical weeks and ongoing online theory sessions available as live or pre recorded presentation and discussion sessions)

This entire course is going to be predicated around the idea of various toys, items, big builds and games you can create and play with your learners back in setting. And of course, you'll be learning all of the WILD Passport Practitioner skills along the way. We'll learn about risk assessing, stealth learning and creating engaging learning programmes for your learners along the way.
